1. From the descriptions below, select the appropriate response based on your level of experience, education, and/or training, that you fully possess and that demonstrates your ability to perform Precision Measurement Equipment Calibrator, WG-3378-11 duties without more than normal supervision.

A. I have the ability to perform the most difficult and complex precision measurement equipment calibration. I am skilled in performing transfer-level calibration of commercially available and specially ordered and constructed test, measurement and diagnostic equipment (TMDE); implementing, adapting, modifying and periodically developing technical procedures; assisting and advising users on instrument application, measurement accuracy, and recommended calibration requirements for TMDE; calibrating equipment ranging from simple voltmeters to complex TMDE; performing incidental repairs as required by equipment specifications; collecting, reducing, displaying, analyzing data, and providing metrology information for a wide variety of general purpose TMDE. I am considered an expert and work with a high degree of independence.

B. I have the ability to perform the full range of precision measurement equipment calibration. I am skilled in calibrating equipment ranging from simple voltmeters to complex TMDE; performing incidental repairs as required by equipment specifications; collecting, reducing, displaying, analyzing data, and providing metrology information for a wide variety of general purpose TMDE. I work on my own initiative under general supervision subject to occasional inspection.

C. I have the ability to perform common precision measurement equipment calibration. I can collect, reduce, display, analyze data, and provide metrology information for a wide variety of general purpose TMDE. I work under normal supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.

D. I have the ability to perform simple precision measurement equipment calibration or I have received training on measurement equipment calibration.

E. I do not possess the abilities described above.
