Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped applicants with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Review and update documentation, policies, guidelines and procedures for final determination and approval.
3.
Conduct market research and makes recommendations on automated solutions to support Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) markings.
4.
Assesses planned system changes for security impacts.
5.
Coordinate with system owners and managers to enable implementation of security controls.
6.
Review PII (Personally Identifiable Information) breach reports and review System of Record Notices (SORNs).
7.
Design and implement a process to ensure compliance of policy pertaining to Privacy with the Agency.
8.
Determine appropriate recommendations for unresolved or questionable problems and perform follow-up.
9.
Establish appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect records from unauthorized access, alteration or disclosure and ensure the security and confidentiality of records are preserved.
10.
Identify change implications to security controls and boundaries that result in changes to infrastructure, systems, processes and procedures.
11.
Review proposed new systems, networks, and software change proposals for potential security risks.
12.
Recommend mitigation or countermeasures, and identifying potential areas of concern.
13.
Perform technical reviews of completed work projects and provide technical assistance and guidance regarding compliance with security guidelines as required.
