Thank you for your interest in a career with the James A Haley Veterans VA Hospital - Facility Management . Applicants must meet all of the following basic requirements to qualify for the position of Electrical Worker, Occupational Series WG-2805-08. (limit characters)

1. Ability to do the work of an Electrician without more than normal supervision (SCREEN-OUT ELEMENT). Must demonstrated Journeyman level experience, and ability to work independently on all aspects of an Electrical Worker, with little to no supervision. Do you have the ability to perform the work of the position without more than normal supervision?

Duties include replacing faulty switches, sockets, plugs, fuses, insulators, wire, repair electrically operated beds, etc. Replace light bulbs and fluorescent tubes. Cleans, oils, adjusts and repairs other electromechanical equipment. Records time and material expended on time cards and work orders.
