Assemble data by interpreting a variety of computer or instrument generated data.

Maintain awareness of runoff potential and having the data gathering equipment in place to calculate snow water equivalent or similar Hydrologic data.

Analyze raw data for engineers using end user computer software for accuracy and will recommend shifts in data where necessary.

Peer reviews data from other Hydrologic Technicians for accuracy.

Recognize and resolve deviations in hydrologic data.

Retain composure under stressful situations when dealing with a variety of people.

Train other employees in practices of flow measurements and instructs team members in the methods of obtaining hydrologic information and data.

Coordinate access private property to reach data collection sites.
