Advise on social science research methods used in grant proposals, contract solicitations and work plans, and in-house studies.
4.
Formulate research questions in consultation with other agency staff and/or representatives of interested external groups and that are informed by research evidence.
5.
Prepare research-based conceptual frameworks, theories of change, logic models and measurement frameworks as a preliminary step to planning a research or evaluation study.
6.
Conduct or oversee the design and testing of research instruments and/or protocols.
7.
Conduct an arts-related research or evaluation study.
8.
Conduct statistical and geospatial analyses of large datasets.
9.
Produce associated macro-datasets, data visualizations, and related briefs, technical documents, and other resources.
10.
Conduct a range of statistical analyses including but not limited to general linear models, multiple regression, and ANOVAs.
11.
Coach staff on statistics, geospatial mapping, and analysis of large datasets, including advising on analytical methodologies in grant proposals, contract solicitations and work plans, and in-house studies.
12.
Provide technical support and guidance to agency leadership on data governance.
13.
Apply knowledge of the nonprofit arts and the artistic disciplines/fields to ensure that data collection and statistical procedures and processes are feasible and reasonable.
14.
Establish general specifications and detailed time schedules for data content, collection, and dissemination.
15.
Coordinate or support interagency agreements related to national data collections.
16.
Present research and analytical findings to the agency's senior leadership and other internal and external groups at meetings, conferences, and other venues.
17.
Analyze anticipated changes in data capacity requirements to provide a managed flow of relevant information.
18.
Participate in the development of new plans, schedules, or methods to accommodate changing manpower levels.
19.
Manage a contract for a research, evaluation, or analytical project, including overseeing statistical and geospatial analyses conducted by contractors to ensure accuracy.
20.
Provide technical leadership and serves as the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
21.
Monitor and/or review contractor performance.
22.
Prepare a statement of work for an analytical, research or evaluation project and work with a Contracting Officer to establish a contracting strategy.
