Review plans and bases for design completed by staff engineers for accuracy of results, conformance with policy and instructions, and proper evaluation of all factors pertinent to investigation, evaluation, design and construction of dams greater than 75 feet tall or levees that protect more than 1,000 people.
14.
Review and evaluate the test results of laboratory studies related to water resources projects.
15.
Manage time to address critical aspects of work products that could impact conclusions, recommendations, and decisions.
16.
Research current standards/policies/procedures that could affect the project utilizing all available resources.
17.
Review and provide technical direction on engineering and other studies prepared by architect/engineer consultants, laboratories, and other agencies or activities.
18.
Build trusting relationships, avoiding miscommunication and misunderstandings with others.

Explain the processes involved in carrying out a project and the development of an overall project plan.
