Serve as technical authority on laws, regulations and practices related to cultural resources, including the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), the Archaeological Resources Protection Act (ARPA), the American Indian Religious Freedom Act (AIRFA), the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), and the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). Prepare the required documentation and correspondence for compliance with Sections 106 and 110 of the National Historic Preservation Act, Archeological Resources Protection Act, and other pertinent Federal directives in the Archeological Resources Protection Act, the Native America Graves Protection, Repartition Act or other related laws and pertinent regulations. 6. Assist with implementation of officially issued guidelines and plans such as the cultural resources management plan and integrated resources management plan. (limit characters)
7. Write professional archeological site reports based on personally conducted field and literature research. (limit characters)
8. Prepare reports documenting the studies and arranges for dissemination of the information to the public and for curation of recovered and generated materials. (limit characters)
9. Prepares scopes of work for cultural resource contracts or reviews proposals received for technical appropriateness and cost-effectiveness. (limit characters)
10. Manage contracts as assigned, providing technical guidance to contractors (including tribes) and monitoring performance. (limit characters)
11. Plan and direct workshops and informational meetings for staff, District, sponsors, other agency representatives, historical societies, and the public in order to present findings and share project-related information on cultural resources. (limit characters)
12. Oversee protection of archeological resources on Federally Restricted properties (limit characters)
13. Initiate and maintain liaison with archaeologist and other professional in universities, museums, historical societies, and other local, State and Federal agencies. (limit characters)
14. Coordinate with project manager to assure that schedules and funding accommodate cultural resources requirements. (limit characters)
15. Provides technical guidance to develop professionally acceptable plans for preservation, protection and/or data recovery of affected cultural resources. (limit characters)
16. Coordinate studies with other federal, state, and local county agencies to comply with historic preservation laws and regulations. (limit characters)
17. Monitor for professional quality and direct agency sponsored contract archaeological and historical field surveys. (limit characters)
18. Manages cultural resource information (limit characters)
19. Review environmental documents submitted by other agencies and prepares review comments. (limit characters)
20. Evaluate permit applications that may affect known or suspected archaeological resources for compliance with historic preservation and adequacy of archaeological studies. (limit characters)
