5. 18 months experience or training which provided a knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical principles. Experience in fabricating fuel, oil and vacuum hose lines. Experience in servicing, maintaining, disassembling assembling, repairing and testing hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Experience in diagnosing malfunctions and overhauling pneudraulic accessories by disassembling, cleaning part and examining parts. Experience in diagnosing trouble and determining remedies. Experience in repairing, rebuilding and overhauling major systems of ground equipment and pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Experience in mechanic repairs using hand tools and test equipment. Experience that demonstrates the ability to interpret technical manuals, specifications and publications. In addition to the journeyman level knowledge, experience which demonstrates the ability to plan, organize, and lead the work of others in fields directly related the repair function of this occupational series. Must have the ability to perform administrative functions; to read and interpret a variety of technical publications used in the repair of supported equipment. The ability to provide guidance to others in work related directly to this occupational series.

1. Ability to troubleshoot, remove, inspect, install, repair, modify, rebuild and test pneudraulic systems and components for aircraft pneudraulic systems, associated ground support equipment, and related test equip­ment. (limit characters)
2. Knowledge to determine proper maintenance and repair procedures and minimum requirements pertaining to parts, clearance and tolerances, and performance characteristics of pneudraulic systems and related aerospace grounded equipment. (limit characters)
3. Ability to prepare for and participate in various types of readiness evaluations such as ORI, IG and UE inspections, mobility and command support exercises. (limit characters)
4. Ability to advise the supervisor on status and progress of work, causes of delay, and overall work operations, problems, and individual performance. (limit characters)
5. Ability to assign work to assure full utilization of personnel and to accomplish same within established time frames and priorities. (limit characters)
