Must have at least 6 months experience, education or training in which demonstrates the ability to provide technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable work of the position to be filled. Experience interpreting regulations, policies or law and providing guidance.

Veterans' preference must be validated by frmal submissions including all necessary supporting documentation. You MUST provide acceptable documentation of your preference or appointment eligibility WITH yur application. Acceptable documentation may be:

1. A legible cpy of your DD-214(Member 4), "Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty," which shows dates of service and discharge under honorable conditions.
2. A "certificatin" that is a written document from the armed forces that certifies the service member is expected to be discharged or released from active duty service in the armed forces under honorable conditions not later than 120 days after the date the certification is signed.
3. If claiming 10-pint preference you must submit a VA Letter or a disability determination from a branch of the Armed Forces (or documentation of purple heart, if applicable) and a SF 15 (Application for 10-point veteran preference).
