SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-09: Do you have at least one (1) full year of Specialized Experience that equipped you with the knowledge, skill and ability to successfully perform the duties of this position, and that is typically related to the work of the position? Qualifying specialized Experience includes: having knowledge of principles and procedures that are applicable to a wide range of duties in one or more programs and/or functional areas; possesses a high level of skills in applying this knowledge to solve complex problems; performs technical, administrative or professional work involving managing, administering, operating or supporting services and programs related to the operation and safety of satellite facilities; familiar with the statutes, regulations, licensing/permitting requirements, governmental regulations of environmental programs and waste management, (such as, environmental sanitation, laundry/linen operations, interior/exterior pest control, patient support program, waste management and bed service program; conducts systematic monitoring and surveillance of all aspects of contracted laundry services); and monitors and analyzes both production efficiency and organizational structure in order to implement and or recommend process and organizational changes.
