In addition to the minimum qualifications described above, selectees must possess certifications for IFSAC or Pro-Board firefighter I/II, Haz Mat Operations. Driver/Operator Pumper, National Registry EMT-B or higher level of EMS certification

Performs duties such as handling hoses and operate fire fighting vehicles, to extinguish fires that occur in both structures and vehicles.

Operates and drives fire and rescue vehicles to extinguish fires and perform needed rescues

Recognize proper placement or impediment of sprinkler heads, initiating devices, and notification devices.
