- A former TSA Transportation Security Officer (TSO) eligible for rehiring priority under the Priority Employment Program (PEP);
- An applicant for a Transportation Security Officer (TSO) position who has had my enter-on-duty (EOD) date delayed or offer rescinded due to a workforce reduction or anticipated reduction eligible for priority consideration under the Priority Employment Program (PEP).

Improper transportation of hazardous material.

Interference with flight crew members or flight attendants.

Commission of certain crimes aboard aircraft in flight.

Carrying a weapon or explosive aboard aircraft.

Conveying false information and threats.

Aircraft piracy outside the special aircraft jurisdiction of the United States.

Lighting violation involving transporting controlled substances. Essentially, this means that if you have been convicted of transporting illegal drugs in a plane without activating the navigation or anti-collision lights you are disqualified.

Unlawful entry into an aircraft area that serves air carriers or foreign air carriers contrary to established security requirements.

Destruction of an aircraft or either a domestic or international aircraft facility. It is a federal crime to use any device, substance or weapon, to intentionally perform an act of violence against any person at an airport or to destroy or seriously damage the facilities of such an airport.

To be considered for the J Band (GS-14), Do you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the SV-I or GS-13 Pay Band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector drafting legal documents, providing guidance and advice to management, establishing policies and procedures; and providing comprehensive legal counsel and policy guidance to clients who manage programs related to intelligence, national security, or threats to transportation infrastructure and the traveling public?

To be considered for the I Band (GS-13), Do you possess one of specialized experience equivalent to the SV-H or GS-12 Pay Band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector drafting and preparing legal documents, providing guidance and advice to management, establishing policies and procedures; and independently performing legal analysis and analyzing cases or requests for legal sufficiency?

To be considered for the H Band (GS-12), Do you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the SV-G or GS-11 Pay Band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector conducting legal research, analyzing statutes, writing legal opinions; and writing authoritative or advisory legal opinions involving interpretation of state or Federal laws, regulations, and orders, or the drafting of such regulations or orders; OR developing drafts of letters, memoranda, and legal documents for the use by a higher graded attorney?

To be considered for the G Band (GS-09), Do you possess three years of specialized experience equivalent to the SV-F or GS-09 Pay Band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector conducting legal research, analyzing statutes, writing legal opinions; and writing authoritative or advisory legal opinions involving interpretation of state or Federal laws, regulations, and orders, or the drafting of such regulations or orders; OR developing drafts of letters, memoranda, and legal documents for the use by a higher graded attorney?
