Appointment to this position is subject to a background investigation to determine your suitability for Federal employment. Are you willing to submit the proper documentation to have a background investigation completed?

This position requires regular contact with children under the age 18 and a favorable determination of suitability to do so. Are you willing to undergo a specific initial background checks, investigation and periodic re-verification check of multiple agency records to obtain and maintain a suitable determination to occupy a position having regular contact with children?

This is a Term position scheduled to last 4 years. A term position may be extended to a maximum of six years depending upon the needs of management. Are you available for term employment?

Term employment is subject to a one year trial period. Employees serving a trial period can be removed with limited appeal rights. Are you willing to serve a one year trial period?

This is an obligated position. An obligated position is one to which an employee has statutory restoration rights or entitlement based on active military service, recovery from a compensable injury, or return rights based on an overseas tour. You will be asked to sign an agreement acknowledging that you are aware of the obligation and willing to be displaced under reduction in force procedures upon the return of the former incumbent. This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time. Are you willing and able to travel away from your permanent duty station up to 5% of the time?
