2. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS GS-11: Do you have at least one (1) full year of specialized experience that equipped you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties the Safety and Occupational Health Specialist at the full performance level (GS-11), and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-9) in the Federal service. Examples of specialized experience includes but not limited to: the review of program-related training instructions and the preparation of lesson plans, providing project support; being an active member of Medical Center committee's; quality management board(s).
To qualify based on education for the GS-11 grade level you must have a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, or LL.M., if related TRANSCRIPT(S) MUST BE SUBMITTED IF EDUCATION IS BEING USED TO QUALIFY.
