2. Grade Point Average (G.P.A.). Students must possess an acceptable average G.P.A. as defined by the educational institution to be eligible for appointment and to remain eligible for participation in the Program. As applicable, at the time of appointment and upon request, students must demonstrate an overall Grade-Point Average (G.P.A.) of 2.0 or above on a 4.0 scale as recorded on the official transcript. This equates to "C" or better. G.P.A.'s should be rounded to one decimal place. For example, 1.95 will round to 2.0 making a student eligible for appointment and continuation in the program. A 1.94 will round to 1.9 making a student ineligible for appointment in the Internship Program. For students in educational institutions that do not use a G.P.A. system, the HR Officer/Director or designee should request that the student provide verification of achieving an average or above standing with the institution.
