Writes and adapts scripts and programs in Arc Macro Language (AML) for GIS data entry, editing, querying, data organization and management, display, and output.

Utilize experience in ArcGIS scripting environment using Python language to automate data processing and perform repetitive, GIS-related tasks.

Provide support to internal and external users of specialized computer software for assessing coastal change and coastal hazards.

Work on multistep, multi-participant work projects that require maintenance of a production schedule.

Utilize a variety of GIS, image processing and visualization software, including ArcGIS, ArcView, PCI, CARIS HIPS/SIPS, Fledermaus, and geophysical processing software, including Xsonar/Showimage, and SwathEd.

Apply professional knowledge of state-of-the-art technology, techniques, and instrumentation applicable to seafloor mapping (sidescan sonar, multibeam and interferometric swath bathymetry, seismic reflection, video, sampling, navigation) to the acquisition, processing, and analysis of marine high-resolution geophysical data.
