1. This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required. Are you willing to undergo pre-employment and recurring investigations to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance as required? 2. This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time. Are you willing and able to travel away from your permanent duty station up to 10% of the time? (limit characters)
3. Department of Defense Directive 8570.1, signed in August of 2004, requires every full and part-time military service member, defense contractor, civilian and foreign employee with privileged access to a Department of Defense system, regardless of job series or occupational specialty, to obtain a commercial certification credential that has been accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). The approved base line certification for this task requirement is IAT Level II certification of DoDD 8571.01-M, and the incumbent must achieve IAT Level II certification within six months or less of entrance on duty. 4. Required to have or complete within 6 months of starting the appropriate training and obtain the required certification/recertification for this position as outlined in Department of the Army Pamphlet 25-2-6, Information Management: Army Cybersecurity, Cybersecurity Training and Certification Program, dated 8 April 2019. 5. Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
