This position is in the Arizona Army National Guard and requires membership with the Arizona Army National Guard. This position is open to the U.S. Armed Forces and those eligible in becoming a member with the Arizona Army National Guard.

Do you possess or able to qualify for a 15 series MOS?

At least 24 months experience or training installing, adjusting, aligning, troubleshooting and functionally testing the various major and minor mechanical and pneudraulic systems on an aircraft during overhaul or modification. Experience coordinating the work of other mechanics, and scheduling maintenance to ensure completion of critical actions and optimum workflow. Must have the ability to instruct lower graded mechanics, military and other personnel in the disassembly and re-assembly of crash damaged engines, transmissions, gearboxes, hydraulic components, and fuel controls sufficient for the exhibit to be returned to its shipping container.

Thorough knowledge of aircraft systems and components in electrical, fuel, hydraulic, environmental and mechanical principles.
2.
Knowledge and ability to manage, monitor or perform overall maintenance, servicing, inspection and documentation for one or more highly technical, high performance military aircraft.
3.
Ability to provide technical guidance and assistance to flight crews regarding observed discrepancies, experienced in-flight characteristics and system malfunctions.
4.
Ability to plan, develop and conduct proficiency training during the technician work week to a multi-faceted workforce comprised of Full Time Support (FTS) and supported unit personnel.
