Do you have experience, education or training that has provided a basic knowledge of data processing functions and general management principles that enabled the applicant to understand the stages required to automate a work process? Experience may have been gained in work such as computer operator or assistant, computer sales representative, program analyst, or other positions that required the use or adaptation of computer programs and systems.

Provide expert technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to management and other technical specialists on critical data-related issues.

Define roles and responsibilities related to data governance and ensure clear accountability for stewardship of the Command's principal information assets.

Serve as the primary liaison between business and functional areas and technology to ensure that data related business requirements for managing and protecting data are clearly defined, communicated and well understood and considered as part of operational prioritization and planning.

Develop procedural guidance for data ownership, access control, data management, and data manipulation to manage and administer organizational data.

Identify and obtain required resources and ensure access by the staff and management of both internal and/or external customers.

Develop report matrices, and request for information procedures, along with collaborative planning tools (such as internet/intranet websites, knowledge portals, chat, and email) to ensure information is translated into focused knowledge that facilitate decision-making.

Work with government and contract personnel responsible for the comprehensive missions of database administration, data management, data modeling, data governance, data retention, data masking, corporate reporting, application data refreshes and Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG) compliance.

Serve as a point of escalation for governance, data quality and protection issues and works closely with business and functional area leadership to improve the quality and value of data assets, respond to regulatory protection requirements as well as support the strategic requirements of the Command.
12.
Advise the Chief Information Officer on enterprise wide data governance framework, with a focus on improvement of data quality and the protection of sensitive data through modifications to organization behavior policies and standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, related tools and data architecture.
13.
Facilitate the development and implementation of data quality standards, data protection standards and adoption requirements across the enterprise.
14.
Define indicators of performance and quality metrics and ensure compliance with data related policies, standards, roles and responsibilities, and adoption requirements.
15.
Design and develop integrative views of data to enable informed decision making.
16.
Coordinate planning, development, implementation, and administration of systems for the acquisition, storage, and retrieval of data.
