5. Must have at least 18 months experience or training installing, adjusting, aligning, troubleshooting and functionally testing the various major and minor mechanical and pneudraulic systems on an aircraft during overhaul or modification. Experience coordinating the work of other mechanics, and scheduling maintenance to ensure completion of critical actions and optimum workflow. Must have the ability to instruct lower graded mechanics, military and other personnel in the disassembly and re-assembly of crash damaged engines, transmissions, gearboxes, hydraulic components, and fuel controls sufficient for the exhibit to be returned to its shipping container.

1. Knowledge and skill to inspect all components of unmanned aircraft repairs which may include instrument, electrical, armament, fuel, hydraulic, power train, battery, sheet metal, welding, machined parts, and all UAS ground equipment involved in ground operations. (limit characters)
2. Knowledge of the operational characteristics and capabilities of mechanical and hydraulic systems in order to evaluate the level of workmanship, the usability and durability of both the components and the repairs and adjustments made. (limit characters)
3. Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical principles, the variety of equipment worked on and the interrelationship of components to ensure that problems are properly diagnosed and all components and subsystems are correctly repaired and operational. (limit characters)
4. Skill in reading and interpreting technical manuals, technical bulletins, blueprints, drawings, etc., to correctly trace problems and to ensure repair. (limit characters)
5. Skill in utilizing various testing devices to include, vacuum and compression gauges, voltmeters, amp-meters, test panels and measuring instruments such as, calipers, micrometers, tester gauges, etc., to ensure that meters, gauges and electronic devices are tested and meet calibration standards and specifications.
