I qualify for this GS-7 position because my resume demonstrates that I have one full year of minimum qualifying specialized experience comparable in difficulty and responsibility to at least the GS-5 level in the federal service. Examples of minimum qualifying specialized experience include the following types of tasks performed on a regular and recurring basis: Gathering a variety of narrative and/or statistical public health or health related data to be used in preparation of reports, summaries, narrative statements, and analyses of facts.

B. I have one full year of graduate level education in any field. One year of full-time graduate education is considered to be the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent 1 year of full-time study. If that information cannot be obtained from the school, 18 semester hours should be considered as satisfying the 1 year of full-time study requirement.

C. I have completed the requirements for a Bachelor's degree in any field, AND meet the requirements for superior academic achievement based on: a) graduating within the upper third of the graduating class in a college, university, or major subdivision such as the College of Liberal Arts or the School of Business Administration, based on completed courses; b) having a grade point average of 3.0 or higher out of a possible 4.0 as recorded on your official transcript, or as computed based on 4 years of education, or as computed based on courses completed during the final 2 years of the curriculum; or 3.5 or higher out of a possible 4.0 based on the average of the required courses completed in the major field or the required courses in the major field completed during the final 2 years of the curriculum; OR c) being elected for membership in a national scholastic honor society. In order to be creditable under this provision, superior academic achievement must have been gained in a curriculum that is qualifying for the position to be filled which is business administration, accounting, management, or finance or other field of study with course work directly related to the work of this position.

B. I have a Master's or equivalent graduate degree or at least 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or an LL.B. or J.D. To be qualifying, the higher-level graduate education must be in a major field of study in business administration, accounting, management, or finance or other field of study with course work directly related to the work of this position.

C. I have an equivalent combination of the above minimum qualifying specialized experience AND higher level graduate education that meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position.
