Your responses to the questions below will be used in the evaluation of your qualifications for this position. Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance on lawn equipment, vehicles, and off-road equipment.

Operate forklifts, mowers, tractors, sprayers, road graders, case front end loaders, backhoes and trenchers.

Operate pneumatic-tired gasoline or diesel powered motor graders to perform excavating, backfilling and leveling of earth to rough grading requirements.

Perform maintenance and small repair on equipment and vehicles including oil and fuel, tires, batteries, fluids and belts.

Grade road shoulders, grade gravel roads and clean snow from parking lots.
7.
Perform rough grading such as digging and cleaning ditches and roadbeds; spreading crushed rock, gravel and sand; cleaning roadways of rocks, sprawled concrete and torn up asphalt, and ice and snow.

Use safe practices and procedures for handling hazardous materials.
9.
Handle and safely apply pesticides, properly rinsing and disposing of spent containers.
10.
Receive written and verbal instructions and general task assignments from a supervisor.
11.
Determine proper equipment to use for completing tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
12.
Steer grader and operate clutches, brakes, levers and valves to accomplish required grading.
13.
Operate graders close to buildings, around obstructions and in open areas.
14.
Operate hydraulic-lift equipped single-axle delivery truck, motorized forklifts of various sizes, mowing equipment, tractors, spraying equipment, chain saws, and powered hand tools, and freight carts.
15.
Operate heavy construction equipment including diesel road grader, case front end loader (with attachments), backhoes and trenchers.
16.
Safely operate forklifts and other equipment in close, tight or confined quarters, observe safety rules when operating equipment, and recognize and avoid unsafe or hazardous conditions.
17.
Work with a high degree of independence in performing work assignments.
18.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, proficiently use a computer to log deliveries, check e-mail communications, and provide computer generated reports as requested.
