Specialized experience at the GS-11 is defined as: one year of post-J.D. / LL.B. work experience rendering legal advice on a broad range of issues pertaining to federal government agencies. One year of full-time specialized work experience in scope and responsibility to the next lower level (equivalent to the GS-9) in the federal government or equivalent training. Do you have this experience?

Specialized experience at the GS-12 is defined as: two years of post-J.D. / LL.B. work experience rendering legal advice on a broad range of issues pertaining to federal government agencies. One year of full-time specialized work experience in scope and responsibility to the next lower level (equivalent to the GS-11) in the federal government or equivalent training and possess experience participating in the research of the Privacy Act and related guidance and regulations. Do you have this experience?

Specialized experience at the GS-13 is defined as: three years of post-J.D. / LL.B. work experience rendering legal advice on a broad range of issues pertaining to federal government agencies. One year of full-time specialized work experience in scope and responsibility to the next lower level (equivalent to the GS-12) in the federal government or equivalent training and experience participating in the research of and rendering legal advice on at least one of the following: The Privacy Act, Federal Information Security Management Act; OMB Circulars and Memoranda, or National Institute of Standards and Technology. Specialized experience at the GS-14 is defined as: four years of post-J.D. / LL.B. work experience rendering legal advice on a broad range of issues pertaining to federal government agencies. One year of full-time specialized work experience in scope and responsibility to the next lower level (equivalent to the GS-13) in the federal government or equivalent training and experience participating in the research of and rendering legal advice on at least two of the following: The Privacy Act, Federal Information Security Management Act; OMB Circulars and Memoranda, or National Institute of Standards and Technology.
