Assessment 1
For the GS 13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibilities equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is fifty-two (52) weeks of experience at the GS-12 level, or equivalent, that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Experience with the Federal Housing Administrations (FHA) loss mitigation rules, Handbooks, and Mortgagee Letters governing FHA approved lenders; AND
- Experience utilizing practices and procedures common to the mortgage servicing industry; AND
- As a member of a team, providing results of the analysis of a lenders servicing operations and determining if their operations and quality control program met FHA requirements; AND
- Recommending policy changes for servicing policies.
Specialized experience for this position includes:
