Conducts basic and specialized cleaning of museum objects following guidelines established by regional and contract conservators.

Sorts collections based on needed actions by applying criteria established by the curator and consulting conservators.

Maintains conservation records by documenting details related to object assessment, cleaning and conservation treatment to establish a consistent record.

Provide high level of attention to detail in both the handling and documentation of museum collections.

Photograph museum collection objects using digital still cameras for access use (for web content, documentary purposes, or researcher use).

Identify and catalog museum collections (art, archeology, history, ethnology, botany, geology, paleontology, and archives) using Interior Collections Management System (ICMS) or equivalent system.

Generate reports in Interior Collections Management System (ICMS) or equivalent system and track locations of museum collections by updating location data as objects are moved.
16.
Compile, reduce, store, retrieve, analyze, and report data and other resource management information utilizing a variety of computer programs.
17.
Identifies, independently sorts, and classifies cu ration objects that are similar to previously identified objects.
18.
Complete loan and gift forms in Interior Collections Management System (ICMS) or equivalent system as specified in relevant museum policies.
19.
Makes recommendations for the care of museum collections based on daily observations.
20.
Participates in team projects to accomplish the curatorial objectives in a timely and collegial manner.
