  • Addresses complex issues related to the purchase, coordination and operational effectiveness of community care, ensures timeliness and accuracy of VA claims processing, and promotes client and customer satisfaction; provides executive leadership and direction to OCC offices and facilities and major Department
    level initiatives related to purchase of community care; also provides executive leadership and direction on budget, equal employment opportunity, and workforce management issues.
  • Responsible for all phases of a project from inception to closure and is responsible for planning program strategies, providing expert advice, monitoring performance, developing initiatives, and writing and developing directives, policies and procedures to be utilized during national implementation; organizes, plans, and directs project execution involving a diversified, yet coordinated, staff effort and determines and forecasts expenditures for implementation and ongoing maintenance of assigned initiatives.
  • Reviews, interprets, and applies directives from IVC, VA Central Office, external agencies, and state and local agencies; prepares briefings, presentations and other high-level documents in support of national programs, special projects and studies.
