Assessment 1
The Management & Program Analyst and responsible for accomplishing or supporting major analytical studies, projects, and tasks relating to substantive mission-oriented programs of the Investigations Division. Assignments often involve complex matters, are broad in scope, and usually involve extensive research, liaison, and frequent contact with internal and external stakeholders. The incumbent will be expected to manage one or more national programs; conduct research and develop project plans; collect and analyze information from diverse data sources; evaluate internal and external policy; apply qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to assess programs and processes; communicate complex and/or controversial issues both in writing and verbally; create recommendations to facilitate organizational or process changes; apply a wide range of analytical techniques to evaluate issues; identify solutions to programmatic issues discovered; write segments of reports on a specific or narrow in scope issue; communicate report findings and recommendations to people inside or outside the agency; and use various databases, spreadsheets, graphs, and charts to organize, analyze, and present information.
