Do you have the ability to do the work of the Cemetery Caretaker without more than normal supervision? The ability to do the work of a WG-6 Cemetery Caretaker can be demonstrated by the ability to perform more complex grounds, facility and general maintenance. Specific examples of this experience include: 1) operating industrial equipment, such as dump trucks, tractors with attachments, pick-up trucks, and forklifts, requiring manipulation of a variety of controls; 2) knowledge of numerous parts and functions of equipment to perform operator maintenance on equipment used; 3) perform carpentry tasks involving the use of hammers, drills and common carpentry tools; 4) perform grounds maintenance and renovation tasks using a variety of complex tools and equipment; and 5) driving standard and automatic transmission vehicles to transport supplies, heavy materials, personnel and equipment to and from a worksite.

Utilize power equipment (e.g., augers, roto-tillers, sod-cutters, tampers) to maintain and renovate grounds.
