Conduct periodic inventories of merchandise on hand.
6.
Inspect store items to ensure they are displayed and in stock in sufficient quantities.

Manage the Not-In-Stock listing.

Verify vendor invoices against merchandise received.

Verify pricing accuracy and proper shelf allocation for subsistence items.

Complete formal performance appraisals.

Counsel employees regarding performance and conduct issues.

Establish and/or revise work methods and performance standards for subordinate employees.

Identify training needs and plan on the job training for subordinates.
