Are you currently an Enlisted Member (E1/PVT - E7/SFC) or Not Currently in the Virginia Army National Guard but you are Eligible to Join at one of those military ranks?

Accepting a Title 32 Federal Technician position disqualifies you from continued receipt of any bonuses that you either currently may be entitled to or may be entitled to in the future while you are employed as a Title 32 Federal Technician including the Student Loan Repayment Program (SLRP). Also, Federal Technicians cannot use Tricare.

Do you have experience or training performing maintenance, repair, and inspections on the electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components on armored vehicle turrets?

Do you have at least 18 months of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the WG-09 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government? This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the WG grade indicated. This experience must include activities such as:
- Experience performing maintenance on the electrical system of the turrets. Repairs the stabilization control systems, circuit breakers, distribution boxes, cables, and wiring system, points and all other electrical components in the turret.
- Experience testing and repairing electrical test sets that are used to test the electrical systems of the tank turret.
- Experience repairing the hydraulic system, which provides the pressure to elevate and traverse the gun and rotate the turret.
- Experience repairing all mechanical parts involved in turret traversing, such as the traversing gearbox including the clutch assembly, and turret races including cupola bearings.
