This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required. Are you willing to undergo pre-employment and recurring investigations to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance as required?

Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. While probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights. Are you willing to serve a one year probationary period?

This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time. Are you willing and able to travel away from your permanent duty station up to 25% of the time?

This position requires Information Assurance Technical Level II certification or the incumbent must be able to obtain certification within six (6) months of appointment and maintained thereafter . Are you willing to meet this requirement?

Due to the nature of this position, employees are required to work both planned and unscheduled overtime which may include evenings and weekends.. Are you willing to work overtime as required by management to meet work requirements?

Must satisfactorily complete appropriate training to obtain and maintain required certification/recertification as outlined in DOD Publication 8570.01-M Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program, dtd 19-DEC-2005 (incorporating Change 3, 01/24/2012).
