Eligibilities

Are you currently a member of the Virginia Army National Guard, regardless of employment status (Traditional, Military technician or AGR)?

Are you currently an Enlisted Member (E1/PVT - E6/SSG) or Not Currently in the Virginia Army National Guard but you are Eligible to Join at one of those military ranks?

Accepting a Title 32 Federal Technician position disqualifies you from continued receipt of any bonuses that you either currently may be entitled to or may be entitled to in the future while you are employed as a Title 32 Federal Technician including the Student Loan Repayment Program (SLRP). Also, Federal Technicians cannot use Tricare.

Do you have experience performing a full range of examining and identifying duties for the most complex categories of materiel and equipment, including electronic, mechanical, perishable, radioactive, and assemblies and components?

Do you have experience Inspecting, receiving, sorting, counting, identifying, and are you knowledgeable of special handling techniques and procedures required for the processing of hazardous and toxic materiel such as explosives, toxic chemicals, flammables, gas cylinders, radioactive material, hazardous waste and medical waste?

Do you have experience receiving or rejecting materiel equipment, including non-standard equipment, and complex assemblies for the facility based on their knowledge of products, equipment, and procedures as well as having the ability to determine subtle and inconspicuous defects?

Do you have experience assuring that the property is identified to include identification of all contaminants as well as handling damaged and unidentified shipments requiring repair/repacking or return to the supplier in accordance with established procedures?
