A. I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (DS-06) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized Experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Comprehensive knowledge of METCAL Program Principles, Theories, Techniques and Methodologies. 2. Understands the operation, logistics and administrative relationships and responsibilities associated with the METCAL Program. 3. Extensive knowledge of metrology and logistical disciplines as they relate to aviation Intermediate and Depot-level calibration and maintenance. 4. Knowledge/experience with complex organizations, procedures, processes, information systems including the determination of maintenance process requirements for electronic, electrical, mechanical, and dimensional systems. 5. Familiarity with test equipment and procurement; management, staffing and work loading of maintenance facilities supporting information/production control systems. 6. Mastery of advanced concepts, principles, and practices of all aspects of the broad field of logistics management. 7. Expert knowledge of the DOD Planning, Programming and Budgeting process, administrative relationships within the DON and NAVAIR related to logistics acquisition and Fleet support of systems; administrative relationships with supporting field activities, and broad knowledge of policies and procedures.
