  • Applying advanced knowledge of the theories, practices, and methodologies related to crime victim assistance including crisis intervention, counseling, or comparable professional experience providing direct support services and technical assistance to victims of crime.
  • Assisting victims by participating on multidisciplinary teams to ensure appropriate and timely coordination of services.
  • Establishing and maintaining liaison role working with various entities (e.g., internal field offices, DOJ components/federal, state, local officials, nongovernmental agencies, etc.) regarding victim assistance.
  • Assisting agents/law enforcement professionals on scene when victims are likely to be encountered to provide mandated services, referrals, and information.
