A. I have the ability to perform the most difficult and complex tying tool repairer duties. I am skilled in performing a full range of repairs to automatic tying tools used in revetment operations; diagnosing problems with tying tools that require repair; and assembling and disassembling tying tools. I am considered an expert and work with a high degree of independence.

B. I have the ability to perform the full range of tying tool repairer duties. I am skilled in performing a full range of repairs to automatic tying tools used in revetment operations; diagnosing problems with tying tools that require repair; and assembling and disassembling tying tools. I work on my own initiative under general supervision subject to occasional inspection.

C. I have the ability to perform common tying tool repairer duties. I can perform a full range of repairs to automatic tying tools used in revetment operations and diagnose problems with tying tools that require repair. I work under normal supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.

D. I have the ability to perform simple tying tool repairer duties.

E. I do not possess the abilities described above.
