To qualify for the 2210 IT Specialist series, you must perform duties which demonstrate experience in each of the four IT-Competencies below. Performance of these duties must be IT-related and may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience. Your responses are subject to verification against the information you provide. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must also have at least 52 weeks performing work that primarily consists of planning, designing and developing facility-related application systems, such as Tririga and FMSystems, to meet long-range facilities and logistics management systems needs.
This experience must have been gained in a federal position at or above GS-12 OR (if your position or experience is in another federal pay scale or outside of federal service) by performing duties at a level equivalent to those performed at the federal GS-12 level.

Do you have experience working with buildings management and/or IT personnel to determine the feasibility and practicality of proposed new building automation systems, hardware and/or software?

Do you have experience communicating, negotiating and presenting technical concepts orally and in writing to establish and maintain effective relationships with management, automated systems users and/or contractors regarding building management systems activities and initiatives (e.g., TRIRIGA, FM Systems)?

Do you have experience applying project management principles, methods and practices, including developing plans and schedules, developing cost estimates, establishing relevant milestones and deliverables for IT and facility items, developing systems performance measurement criteria and solving problems?
