2. Minimum Qualifications Requirement for the GS-05. I meet the minimum qualifications because:

A. I have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) in the federal service. Specialized experience is further defined as experience with safety operations at an Airtanker Base, talking to aircraft over the radio or through radio headsets; consolidating and inputting data using computer programs; or assisting with recording and maintaining retardant and aircraft logs.

B. I have 4 years of study leading to a bachelor’s degree with a major study in forestry, range management, agriculture, or a directly related field or 24 semester hours in any combination of courses such as those show above. No more than 6 semester hours in mathematics is creditable.

C. I have an equivalent combination of specialized experience and education. I will provide a copy of my college transcript.
