Assessment 1
General Experience for the CN-30 level: To qualify at CN-30, you must have one year of general experience at or equivalent to the CN-22 level (equivalent to the GS-4 level) in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector. For this position, examples of general experience include:
  • Conducting research;
  • Data analysis;
  • Data quality control for an organization; OR
  • Drafting reports, briefings, talking points and/or presentations to management.
OR 

Education: Completion of 4 academic years of post-high school leading to a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree.

Must be pursuing a course of study related to the position being filled.

Basic Qualifications: You MUST meet the definition of a STUDENT for the duration of your appointment. The definition of a student is: an individual accepted for enrollment or enrolled and seeking a degree (diploma, certificate, etc.) in a qualifying educational institution, on a full or half-time basis (as defined by the institution in which the student is enrolled), including awardees of the Harry S. Truman Foundation Scholarship Program under Public Law 93842. Students need not be in actual physical attendance, so long as all other requirements are met. Students need not be enrolled in the summer as long as they are enrolled in both the preceding spring semester and subsequent fall semester. An individual who needs to complete less than the equivalent of half an academic/vocational or technical course load immediately prior to graduating is still considered a student for purposes of this Program.
