Specialized experience for the GS-15: You must have one (1) year of specialized experience that has equipped you with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the Federal service, public or other private sectors. Specialized experience for this position includes all of the following:
Experience overseeing the implementation and on-going operation of an applications program management office, such as establishing metrics to measure program/project performance, monitoring resource utilization, and identifying strategic objects and alignment with the organization's needs, mission and vision.;
Experience leading systems implementation/integration project (business requirements through implementation).
Experience managing a multi-product line portfolio of shared services IT investments by serving as the governance, program /project management expert and technical authority.
Experience and thorough understanding of the Project Management Lifecycle and Systems Development Lifecycle for successful customer delivery; and
Experience using project management software tools and technologies such as Microsoft Project Professional, Microsoft Project Server, Agile Project management software tools such as Jira, and other Program/Portfolio Management SharePoint based tools to manage cross functional programs and projects using best practices.
