Thank you for your interest in a Attorney-Adviser (Real Property) position with Department of the Army. A. I have successfully completed a full course of study in a school of law accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA) and have the first professional law degree (LLB or JD). (NOTE: You must attach a copy of your transcripts to your application package under the document type "Transcripts" for verification).

B. My education and/or experience is not reflected in the above statement.

2. Select the one statement that best describes the experience that you possess that demonstrates your ability to perform the work of Attorney-Adviser (Real Property) at the GS-13 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal Service.

A. I have two (2) or more years of professional legal experience, acquired after being admitted to the Bar, commensurate with the duties and responsibilities of the position. Examples of this experience include:1) Advising on potential problems with land management plans, out grants, leases, and/or licenses; 2) Reviewing real estate processes, policies, and features of relocation agreements for legal sufficiency; 3) Drafting documents associated with real estate acquisitions; 4) Preparing attorney title opinions consistent with statutory and constitutional requirements that vary from state to state; 5) Reviewing all legal instruments and/or documents with potential legal ramifications; 6) Preparing legal reports and other documents required by various federal courts or administrative tribunals. (Experience must be documented in your resume.)

B. In addition to the first law degree (LLB or JD), I have a second professional law degree, such as an LLM, which I may substitute for one year of the required professional legal experience, and I have one (1) or more years of professional legal experience, acquired after being admitted to the Bar, commensurate with the duties and responsibilities of the position. Examples of this experience include: 1) Advising on potential problems with land management plans, out grants, leases, and/or licenses; 2) Reviewing real estate processes, policies, and features of relocation agreements for legal sufficiency; 3) Drafting documents associated with real estate acquisitions; 4) Preparing attorney title opinions consistent with statutory and constitutional requirements that vary from state to state; 5) Reviewing all legal instruments and/or documents with potential legal ramifications; 6) Preparing legal reports and other documents required by various federal courts or administrative tribunals. (Experience must be documented in your resume.)

C. My professional legal experience is not described in either A or B above.
