Have you successfully completed a minimum 90 days experience performing on-the-line (Primary/Rigorous) wildland fire suppression duties as a member of an organized fire suppression crew or comparable unit that utilized knowledge of wildland fire suppression, containment or control techniques and practices under various conditions AND is this experience, to include, specific duties and specific dates documented in your work history/resume.

2. Have you successfully completed the training requirements of at least ONE of the following: Air Tactical Group Supervisor (ATGS), OR; Helicopter Manager (HMGB), OR; Resource/All Hazard Incident Helicopter Manager (HEAM), OR; Fire Unmanned Aircraft System Pilot (UASP).

3. From the descriptions below, select one response that best describes how your background meets the specialized experience and/or education requirements for a Helicopter Program Officer, GS-2101-11 position. Read all responses before making your selection.

A. I have at least one year of specialized work experience at the GS-09 level in the Federal service, or equivalent, which includes the following: Developing strategies and tactics to implement effective aircraft fire suppression operations; ensuring helicopter facilities and operations programs are maintained and managed within the scope of agency standards; managing complex aviation issues in the fire program operations related to wilderness program implementation and overflight restrictions; serving as a Contracting Officers Representative (COR) or Contracting Officers Representative(COTR) for exclusive-use helicopter contracts, aircraft rental agreements, on-call helicopter contracts; provide program training of Helitack crew as well as others involved in aerial fire management missions; providing leadership in the fire and aviation safety program.

B. I do not meet the one year of specialized experience as described above, but I possess at least three (3) years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a major study to the position such as accounting, business administration, business or commercial law, commerce, economics, engineering, finance, industrial management, statistics, traffic management, transportation, motor mechanics or other fields related to the position.

C. I do not meet the specialized experience requirements described in above, or the education requirements described above, but I possess a combination of education and experience.

D. I do not possess any of the requirements described above.
