Laborers at this level perform heavy physical labor such as clearing brush and fallen logs from trail corridors, digging for long periods of time with an shovel and pick, carrying logs and rolling rocks. Construct and maintain trail drainage structures and backcountry bridges. Use and maintain a variety of tools and equipment commonly used in Laborer duties. Use standard safety equipment and follow safety procedures to avoid serious injury.
