This includes: Career/Career Conditional or Excepted Service (i.e. Canteen, Hybrid, Title 38, etc. and meets interchange agreement requirements). This does not include temporary, term or temporary intermittent.

At least 1 year of that experience must have been specialized experience at or equivalent to work at the next lower level of the position, and must have provided the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the work of the position; AND I completed a 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree, that included or was supplemented by at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management. 4. Based on the descriptions below, please select the response that best reflects your level of experience for the GS-1102-15 Supervisory Contract Administrator. This position is considered the most senior level contracting position within VBA, and in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Institute, carries a requirement for specialized experience. Specialized experience is defined as demonstrated experience equivalent to at least the supervisory GS-14 1102 level in the Federal service specifically related to federal procurement.
  • Experience functioning as the source selection authority in source selection activities, leading contract review boards, defining acquisition strategies for complex contracts, approving contractual documents, including documents that define requirements, incentive plans and evaluation criteria, determining prices fair and reasonable, determining contractor responsibility, awarding contracts, administering contracts (including modifying contracts), terminating contracts, and determining whether costs are reasonable, allocable and allowable.
  • Experience in executing contracts but also leading others to accomplish an organizational mission.
