4. Interns must maintain good academic standing according to the school's definition. Generally, for those in undergraduate degree programs, good academic standing would be maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 (no rounding) or equivalent and for a Master's or Professional degree, at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA or equivalent. Student interns must be prepared to meet the Program Eligibility standards outlined under the Acquisition Professional Career Program (APCP) AND meet OPM's Individual Occupational Requirement for the 1102, Contracting Series for the GS-07 grade level at time of application and/or upon graduation. Interns are expected to graduate with superior academic achievement (3.0 GPA or above). Student interns hired during the fall/winter 2023 academic session will work part-time (32 hours per week) for the first two weeks of appointment and thereafter shift to 16 hours per week until graduation in the Spring 2024.
