In addition to the requirements in the questions above, selectees must possess or be able to obtain a National Park Service, Level I or Level II, Law Enforcement Commission by entrance on duty date, which requires successful completion of an approved Law Enforcement Training Program. This position requires the selectee to operate an oar powered raft along a complex braided river system with class III rapids during high stress incidents. The boats may consist of 12'-16' framed rafts. If you do not meet the requirements of this selective factor, you will be rated ineligible for this position.
