Utility Systems Repairer Operators at this level can independently monitor pumping equipment, read meters, gauges and charts and records readings and prepares reports for supervisor or higher graded workers. Responsible for monitoring equipment and meters in accordance with a prescribed schedule such as pumps, flume meters and outlets. Perform plumbing tasks such as replacing hose bibs, valves, nipples, unions and elbows, fixtures, flush valves, and various types of pipes. Perform minor repairs to buildings of utility facilities.
