Your responses to the questions below will be used in the evaluation of your qualifications for this position. Uses a wide variety of test equipment such as test meters, voltmeters, ammeters, wattmeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, transistor analyzers, or ohmmeters.

Possesses knowledge of electricity, electronics, and mechanics.
12.
Works in facilities and motor control centers with a wide range of voltages, amperages, phase, and frequency systems.
13.
Utilizes a variety of hand tools used commonly in electronics work such as wire strippers, soldering tools, fuse pullers, fuse testing equipment, screw drivers, battery drills, etc.
14.
Troubleshoots and repairs instrumentation and equipment ranging in complexity from electro-mechanical and pneumatic devices to solid-state devices.
15.
Isolates problems to the lowest level possible, consistent with economic repair cost and out-of-service equipment.
16.
Uses internet-based systems to research methods for trouble shooting and repairing scientific equipment.
17.
Works from building plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams, engineer drawings, electrical maintenance, and repair manuals.
