IOR BASIC REQUIREMENTS: You must have a Bachelor's or higher degree in economics from an accredited college or university, that included at least 21 semester hours in economics and 3 semester hours in statistics, accounting, or calculus OR A combination of education and experience. The education must include courses equivalent to a major in economics, as shown above, plus appropriate experience or additional education.

AND

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-14: To be eligible for this position at this grade level, you must meet the following requirements. In addition to the basic requirements, you must have one (1) year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service.

In addition to meeting the basic requirements, you must have 1 year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: Application of methods and techniques utilizing economic factors related to transfer pricing and transfers of tangible and intangible property, high value services, risk allocation and transfer pricing of foreign controlled corporations; and Development and analysis of transfer pricing factual information to recognize and evaluate significant and critical factors, solve complex problems, conduct comparability analyses, draw rational economic conclusions, prepare comprehensive reports; and an In-depth
knowledge of the provisions of the Internal Revenue Code Sec. 482 sufficient to interpret data secured from tax returns and to understand sections applicable to assigned cases; and Expertise in written and oral communications to explain and defend transfer pricing related research findings, hold conferences with taxpayers and their representatives and maintain professional relationship and serves where necessary as a qualified witness for the government in litigation cases.
