Analyze prisoner and detention data and other assigned projects, prepare or review reports, and make recommendations.

Identify/clarify system requirements as related to detention operations.
16.
Participate in a multi-disciplined team of detention staff to formulate, manage, deliver, and accept complex detention technology solutions.
17.
Identify and implement detention process reform initiatives to reduce total program costs and more effectively meet customer requirements.
18.
Assist with development of detention support services programs, plans, procedures, and methods relevant to operations.
19.
Make decisions or recommendations that significantly influence important agency detention system policies or programs.
20.
Ensuring the function of all Information Technology (IT) systems related to detention operations, including training the users, problem solving, collecting and analyzing data to solve problems or recommend/design improvements of prisoner management systems.
21.
Establish and maintain liaison with peers and work closely with their representatives to ensure that concerns such as proper requirement definitions and adequate funding are met.
22.
Review terms and conditions set forth in acquisition negotiations, acquisition plans, budgets, and modifications to the scope of work to be accomplished by the contractor.
23.
Act as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) managing contractor tasks and supporting detention technology system acquisitions.
24.
Review project scheduling of detention programs related to the Criminal Justice System and how it interfaces with and impacts detention systems nationally.
25.
Design cost-benefit studies to implement projects with the most efficient use of both human and material resources.
26.
Provide advice and guidance on broad projects and programs with national impact.
27.
Participate in the establishment of a viable relationship with a wide variety of clients that manage national and worldwide programs involved in detention and detention technology.

Participate on cross-functional project teams to ensure organizational objectives are achieved.
29.
Provide technical review of manuals, technical guides, and other documents.
30.
Conduct tactical and long-range planning, determines required resources, manages project scheduling of detention programs related to the Criminal Justice System and how it interfaces with and impacts detention systems nationally.

Act as a subject matter expert for various projects involving the enhancement of mission-based application systems for detention management operation initiatives and goals.
