This vacancy is being filled under Delegated Examining (DE), in addition to Merit Promotion (MP) procedures. Delegated Examining is open to all U.S. Citizens, with Veteran's Preference applying. Operate a multi-frequency, multi-agency radio console and/public safety computer network.

Collect data and make inquiries through various secure law enforcement information systems such as the National Crime Information Center Criminal Justice computer system.
8.
Relay essential situational information (i.e., locations, routes, locations, routes, vehicle, vessel or aircraft) to emergency responders to prevent confusion and improve reaction time of responding units.

Ensure that appropriate personnel and resources are dispatched via radio communications to emergency incidents.

Coordinate/evaluating initial emergency response actions and daily incidents

Assign emergency units to respond based on the nature of the call.
12.
Inputs and interprets data into and from several computers, i.e., one for complex, complicated national law enforcement tele type system and another used for communications center work

Logs all case incident reports and search/rescue incidents in numerical/chronological format
